Issam Abdo-Ahmad (also publishing as Issam Ahmad) is a Montréal-based Economic Research Analyst at CEDEC, specializing in applied econometrics, data-driven policy analysis, and economic strategy. He holds dual master’s degrees in Applied Financial Economics (HEC Montréal) and Applied Economics (Lebanese American University) and combines rigorous quantitative methods with real-world policy and business applications.
His work spans regional economic analysis, labour market research, impact evaluation, and financial and economic modelling, supporting evidence-based decision-making for public institutions, firms, and community organizations. He has published in peer-reviewed journals and has hands-on experience delivering analytical insights for policy, advisory, and strategic projects.
